If you are a
premium member and want to be more specific, you can do so in
the description section of your listing.
A word of caution!
Be sure to describe what you do, but
don't be so specific that someone you could possibly help
would dismiss the idea of contacting you because your
description makes it sound like you can't help.
A good rule of thumb: the
less specific you are, the better chance you will be
contacted.
Do you provide a service not
listed?
Please choose
"Other" and we will work with you to be sure it is
represented and found by patients.
How the Services Work for Patient
Searches
When patients do their searches, they
will be presented with the same main list of service
categories,
so any advocate that has checked the category the patient
wants (and is also located in the chosen geography) will be included in their search
results.
It's possible, of course, that a patient
will be looking for a specific type of service you don't
offer, even within the same category. However, you
want to err on the side of having more patients contact you
- not fewer. So be broad enough so they will contact you to discuss your
possible assistance.
